We are located in Florida, so naturally this is a fun state for kids. We have everything here from Disney World to Lego Land. However, my kids and I are Museum buffs! WE LOVE A GOOD MUSEUM, children’s science centers/museums are no exception. This Science is located in Orlando and has an array of sections for each age of child. I thought that my youngest son Connor wasn’t going to care for this place as most science centers/ museums are geared for older children. However, as we walked through we were very suprised to see a water area, small child zone, kinetic area and more.
Some of our favorite sections were:
& The Drip Drop Splash Area
I brought a friend with me, as handling two kids in a crowded place isn’t the best idea. ( I’ve learned this the hard way after a trip to chuckie cheese with two young boys). We walked all the floors and slowly went through each exibit. We played with the different kinetic objects, made scarves go up plastic shoots to get shot down another, played in the jungle gym, and dug up dino bones. After walking through all the exhibits we ended our day with a few hours in kids town where the boys ran around grabbing oranges to put in a tube that sucked them into a larger container. After all the oranges where in one area the container let loose and would drop all the collected oranges and the kids would scatter to grab each one.
